The buttons on Evernote have been designed to be minimal and do not appeal to your eyes in the notes editing process, but the previous dark blue and gray menus are also not available. Even buttons to insert bullet points, tick marks, text formatting tools will also be hidden by default. Only when you select a paragraph to manipulate will these menus appear. You can still access notebooks, notes, tags and other features fully.
Currently the new version of Evernote is only in beta, so when you visit https://www.evernote.com and log in, you will be asked if you want to test. Today's change comes after the company has updated its mobile apps with a streamlined and neat interface.
