Archaeological experts say, this sewage system may be a product of local urban reform of the ancient residents of the past. And one important thing to learn is the technique and operation when they build this sewage system.
Rafet Çavuşoğlu said that the sewage system is entirely made of stone, the lid of the system is also covered with stone, inside is an extended hollow road system to lead waste water.
In addition, when the ancient castle đàiavustepe was unearthed, the team also discovered a decrepit ancient toilet , and connected it to the sewage system. This is a very important evidence, demonstrating the progressive civilization of the ancient local inhabitants thousands of years ago.
Not only that, a series of old dyke traces of kilometers spanning the east and west of the castle were also discovered to serve as a protective defense system. - Çavustepe said.
