Professor Murat Durukan of Mersin University and co-excavator Professor Serdar Girginer of Cukurova University discovered these 10 cave paintings and according to them, these cave paintings belong to prehistoric times called Cilicia times .

Archaeological group said, 10 cave paintings may be imprinted products by caves that may have been the center of religious activities, the center performed rituals, harvest seasons expressed in strange characters, strange numbers recorded in the stone cave in a unique way.
