Dell introduced the ultra-durable Latitude 7000

The new product line includes two 12-inch and 14-inch screen sizes that meet the military's durability standard MIL-STD-810G.

Both new laptop models for Dell entrepreneurs are equipped with the latest Intel Haswell processor, removable batteries, durable covers and separate warranty for up to 3 years (usually only one year). The metal frame of both machines can be impacted when dropped from a height of 0.72 meters, vibration, temperature and humidity in harsh environments range from -10 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees C.

In addition, there are additional readers SmartCard, fingerprint identification, extension dock, USB modem and additional years of warranty.

The other version is the Latitude E7440 D ell which has a lower starting price from $ 1,050. Products equipped with 14 inch screen with basic configuration including Intel Core i3-4010U processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB hard drive. Dell does not talk about SSD options for this product, which makes Intel's ultrabook standard.

Dell Latitude E7440 weighs 1.63 kg and is 2 cm thin. The battery has a capacity of 34 Whr and offers a 45 Whr lift option. Other optional parameters are equivalent to 12.5-inch copies. Dell also said it would upgrade the Full HD screen with touch features.
