Your Macbook is broken but you can't ask anyone who has a Macbook to create a USB to install MacOS? In this article, Hanoicomputer will guide you how to create a USB to install MacOS directly on Windows.

MAC OS is Apple's exclusive operating system for Macbook. Therefore, if we want to create a USB to install MacOS, we must have a Macbook to be able to do it. This is quite inconvenient, especially when our Macbook has problems and cannot operate normally. Therefore, in this article, Hanoicomputer will guide you on how to create a USB to install MacOS using Windows, extremely simple and easy to do!

First, download the MAC OS installation file:

- MAC OS 10.11 El Capitan  here

- MAC OS 10.10 Yosemite  here

- MAC OS 10.9 Mavericks  here

And of course you need a USB with at least 8GB capacity, USB 3.0 is better.

After downloading, unzip the  usbit.zip file  and run the  USB Image Tool.exe file.  Insert the USB into the computer, then select  Restore  and point to the path to the MAC OS file downloaded above as shown.

The process of unpacking the MAC OS installation image will take place. If you use USB 3.0, it will be quite fast, about 5 minutes.

After creating the USB to install MAC OS, you plug it into the Mac, turn on the computer and hold the Option key, then select boot into the USB to install MAC just created to boot and reinstall MAC OS.

Because after February 14, 2016, Apple changed the new certification for the MAC OS installer, and this MAC OS installer was downloaded before that time, so when installing, you will encounter the message:

'This copy of the Install OS X . application can't be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading.'

So you need to set the time on your MAC by:

1. Turn off the Internet connection on your Mac to prevent it from automatically updating to the current time.

2. Then open Terminal and type the following command to reset the time in your Mac.

date 1010101015

This command will reset the time in your computer to 10-10-2015

After adjusting the time in your computer, continue installing MAC OS as usual.
