One of the biggest shortcomings of ChromeOS and a minus point when using mobile OS is that applications do not work like software on the desktop. Google is trying to fix this. According to 9to5Google sheet, new updates on ChromeOS will help Android applications run smoothly in the background.

Currently, these applications - part of the unified Android and Chrome plan - will stop when you switch to another application. This is quite annoying for those who want to work multitasking.
