Chromebook computer sales lost to both Surface
Only about 500,000 models of Chromebooks were sold while the Surface, despite being suspected of being a "spray bomb," still had sales of three times.
Chromebook Pixel.
The source from Digitimes said Google Chromebook sales only had a total of 500,000 units since it started appearing on the market. This low consumption makes the Chrome OS less than 1% of the laptop market.
The figure is also much worse than the 1.5 million Surface units consumed according to the latest Bloomberg report. Microsoft products had previously been thought to not meet the expectations of professionals.
Digitimes also stressed that Chromebook computers will probably need at least another two years for a new development to be worthy of Windows. Moreover, Google needs time to create every close link between Chromebook and Android mobile to attract users.
The world's number one search firm recently started rolling out Chromebooks with more markings like the Chromebook Pixel. The product has a super-sharp 12.85-inch screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,700 pixels, with touch support and costs $ 1,300.
