Recently, the unclaimed manuals for two notebooks, the ThinkPad T431s and ThinkPad X230s, appeared on Lenovo China.

The T431s will be the upgraded version for the T430s. Although it is unclear how the configuration of the device is, we can see that the device's appearance will change, of which the most obvious point is that the two separate mouse buttons on the touchpad have been removed. The CES recovery took place earlier this month, Lenovo announced that the removable keyboard will be a common point for all ThinkPad models of 2013 and in the future. Instead, customers can use the whole surface as buttons and press at 5 different points.

On the T431s, the hinge is also refreshed and looks like the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, which means the screen angle can be lowered. It also has only one RAM slot, not two like on previous ThinkPads.

Regarding the ThinkPad X230s, the design of the device is inspired by the X1 Carbon Ultrabook. It uses a 12.5-inch screen, just like the regular X230 model. The new design features of the X230s are similar to the T431s: the keyless mouse drag, switch the function of the number F buttons, new hinges. The X230s supports additional SIM slots for mobile network connectivity and has a fingerprint reader. In addition, the "i" in the ThinkPad logo of both the X230s and T431s has built-in LED lights and will light up when the machine works, like the current ThinkPad Edge series.

It is not clear when Lenovo will launch two ThinkPad T431s and ThinkPad X230s.
