Many users of iPhones 4, 4s or 5 recently submitted a complaint about the error on the iPhone that led Apple to face a class action in California (USA) from October 25, 2019.

These users claim that Apple has concealed the design error that caused the power button on older iPhone models, launched years ago such as iPhone 4, 4s, and 5 and intentionally sold them to the market. This error causes the power button on the iPhone to be stuck and broken after a period of use, forcing users to repair and fix themselves.

In the class action, these users demanded that Apple pay compensation for the costs they had to pay to repair the broken button. Currently, they are still calling for more people to participate in this petition, those who bought iPhone 4 in the period from 24/6/2010 to 10/10/2011, or iPhone 4s from 11/10 / 2011 to September 20, 2012 or iPhone before 1/3/2013.

Before the information about this class action, Apple has not given any feedback.

In terms of design, iPhone models such as 4, 4s or 5 have the same power key settings on top of the phone, this position has received a lot of complaints from users. Apple no longer uses this arrangement on next-generation iPhone models, the power button has moved to the right.
