From today (April 25), the telecommunications service provider Indochina Telecom (ITelecom) with the number 087 started to be present in Vietnam. This is the sixth mobile telecommunications service provider in Vietnam and the first virtual mobile network model MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) in our country.

Mobile Virtual Network Operator MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) is similar to the Google FI mobile network, which will use the same infrastructure with available networks instead of using its own radio infrastructure and frequencies.

In the beginning, ITelecom will use the same infrastructure with Vinaphone and in the future may expand with other networks. Therefore, right from the launch of the mobile network ITelecom has covered all over the country.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phong Nha, Deputy Director of Telecommunications Department, the model of virtual mobile network will help businesses save investment costs when taking advantage of unused infrastructure of available networks. The MVNO model has been popular in the world for many years, famous as a Google FI service but is now starting to be available in Vietnam market.

While the infrastructure model is different, the telecommunication services on the new mobile number 087 are not different from the previous networks, also include communication services, mobile data access, and music. wait, call blocking .

Currently, using scratch card with Vinaphone. ITelecom's communication fee is 750 VND / minute for internal and external network of 880 VND / minute.

ITelecom has a separate package named MAY dedicated to low-income customers for VND 77,000 / month, customers will be:

1. Free call within ITelecom and VinaPhone within 20 minutes.
2. Free 30 minutes for out-of-network calls.
3. Free 60 SMS messages.
4. Free 3GB of high speed data every day.

ITelecom currently uses distribution channels through its general agents and authorized agents.
