In PC World's R&S study, about 25.9% of people said they had encountered at least one serious error with a laptop in the past year. This number has decreased from 30.9% over last year and 31.8% compared to two years ago.
The study also found that in the survey of brands' reliability, Apple ranked first, while Asus was in second place. Meanwhile, the results for the two brands Dell and HP are quite bleak. The duo split the last two positions in the vote about the reliability of product and service quality from consumers.
Other interesting information is that business users rate Dell's reliability much higher than those of ordinary or family consumers. Similarly, HP's corporate customers also rated the company as more reliable than its popular laptop customers.
