Apple confirmed that iOS 9 boot code leaked to the Internet and confirmed that there was no security concern

Apple has further confirmed that its products have multiple layers of hardware and software protection, not just depending on the secret of the source code.

According to data from Apple, 93% of its devices use iOS 10 and iOS 11, the remaining 7% are iOS 9 and older versions combined.
