Basically, this machine can run most existing applications
Only ARM64 drivers are supported - Windows 10 on ARM can run x86 applications but cannot use x86 drivers. This is not a problem for most current hardware but if your device is a bit old, the driver will not be supported. Overall support for drivers on Windows 10 running ARM is quite limited, similar to Windows 10 S.
Do not support x64 applications - We already know this, but more information is that Windows 10 running ARM will not support the x64 application emulation. Microsoft is planning to support in the future.
Some games and applications do not work - Microsoft said that the games and applications that use OpenGL version 1.1 or need hardware acceleration OpenGL (Hardware Accelerated) will not run on this Windows 10 ARM version. The game uses the same anti-fraud technology.
Applications that customize the Windows experience may not work properly - Applications such as support or editing of input will not run normally on Windows 10 ARM. Applications that use shell extensions (like icons, right-click menus on File Explorer) like Dropbox are similar. These applications need to be recompiled in native form for ARM.
The application itself assumes that this device is running a mobile version of Windows that may not run normally - Some applications written for Windows Phone may display the following (horizontal - vertical) directions or UI issues other. However, there are not many such applications.
Windows Hypervisor Platform does not support on ARM - You will not be able to run virtual machines with Hyper-V on Windows 10 running ARM.
It seems that for most Windows users, Windows 10 version running ARM will support most applications. Through simulation, you can download 32-bit EXE files and install on these ARM machines.
Although there are limitations as mentioned above, most applications can run. We also have to wait to test whether the Windows 10 laptops running Windows ARM can be used all day as promised and running desktop applications is fine.
