The iOS 14 code snippet reveals that Apple may launch an iPhone 12 Pro without a notch
There have been many rumors that Apple will launch an iPhone without rabbit ears, but no one thinks this big change will be applied on the upcoming iPhone 12. However, a piece of code discovered in the iOS 14 beta version shows that Apple is likely to launch an iPhone 12 Pro without rabbit ears.
Svetapple has found a guide to inserting a SIM card inside iOS 14 beta. However, it is worth noting how the SIM card is inserted, but the design image of the iPhone in this description.
Right! It was an iPhone without a notch. The top edge is about the same size as the bottom edge, creating a balanced and harmonious design.
Of course, there are many smartphones with such a screen or not. Instead, the camera mechanism is indented. But it is safe to say that Apple will never apply that mechanism.
There have also been reports of Apple redesigning the TrueDepth camera assembly (Face ID support), smaller and can be placed on a border, instead of needing a 'giant' notch notch as before.
Even so, we still can't confirm for sure. But there is still a great belief that the iPhone 12 will have a lot of impressive and expected changes.
