Apple announced that it will stop supporting Flash in Safari
Adobe Flash Player (or Flash), is a program developed to support web browsers as well as the interaction between these browsers and computers so that users can watch videos, or listen to audio directly from Web without software. Although it has been widely used all over the world for a long time, but in recent years the platform has proved backward and not as popular as before, but the 'core' problem lies in Weak security capabilities, making it a bridge to help hackers deploy malicious activities.
During his lifetime, legendary CEO Steve Jobs repeatedly criticized Flash as the cause of many bad security holes, along with a series of compatibility issues that made computers inoperable. Smooth operation, too much memory usage, too proprietary, too low adaptability for a touch platform instead of mouse clicks. In fact, Apple is one of the pioneering technology companies in the campaign to say no to Flash, starting from refusing to support Adobe's multimedia products (Flash) on the iPhone.
To speed up the 'purge' Flash campaign, Apple has just announced to stop supporting Flash completely starting from the latest test build of Safari browser, meaning that when the next Safari version is released Flash will no longer be able to run on this browser platform.
This is not a surprise to many people because Adobe has pledged to officially kill Flash by the end of 2020. After this information was released, major browser platforms such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or Firefox immediately has a specific plan to gradually move users to use more advanced technologies, such as HTML5.
Apple's announcement to stop supporting Flash on Safari is simply an affirmation of the end of the Flash era in the Internet world. The disappearance of Flash is something that should have happened long ago. Without it, the web world will become smoother, faster, and more secure.
