According to Android Community, China is censoring access to applications like Gmail or Android Market on Google's Android devices.
Currently, the Gmail application and Google's Android Market application space are locked in China. The technology website said that the time to lock the application has been 36 hours and happened to all operators as well as active Android devices in this country. Some users said their Gmail application does not work even though they still have access to Google's online account. Currently, the country has yet to give a reason for this action.
Slashgear said China 's actions aimed at helping its operating systems dominate the local market, typically the Qiushi operating system (an Android version of Baidu search firm).
China's largest search firm began creating its own mobile platform since March. Several recent rumors suggest that the Chinese government is the backer of the job.
