A .bashrc file is opened in Notepad.
And until now, this issue has been fixed in the new Microsoft update. On the Windows 10 Insider test version, although Windows EOL is still supported by default, Notepad was able to read, edit and print line end / downstream code and start new lines of Unix / Linux and Macintosh.
The above .bashrc file is displayed in the new Notepad.
This is a great update because Notepad is still frequently used for quick editing of code lines.
