Apple Vietnam lowered the price of the service to replace the old iPhone battery with sudden battery shutdown

Regarding Apple slowing down the old generation iPhone, the Vietnam Competition and Consumer Protection Department (CT & FPD - Ministry of Industry and Trade) recently worked with related parties and released the latest information.

Accordingly, Apple Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Apple Vietnam LLC) has provided an explanation on this issue to Vietnamese consumers in Vietnamese on Apple's website. At the same time, in order to overcome the phenomenon of battery bottlenecks and prevent the sudden shutdown, Apple Vietnam LLC has implemented the warranty program for replacement battery replacement service for all customers using iPhone 6 or newer whether or not there is a performance problem.

Specifically, Apple reduced the price of replacing the expired iPhone battery warranty to VND 729,000, with the warranty products being replaced free of charge. The discount program is applied from now until December 31, 2018, consumers can go to authorized Apple Service Providers nationwide to replace the battery (no more than 01 hour is expected).

The phone lines are applied promotions including: Apple iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Besides, in order to guarantee the interests and interests of consumers, Apple has allowed users to choose to turn off the power management function to prevent sudden power off on iOS 11.3.
