Viettel sim owners need to add personal information before April 24 if they do not want to be one-way blocked

Viettel sim owners who are operating must fully update the correct information including full name, identity card number, date of issue and place of issue, their own portrait before April 24, otherwise they will be One-way blocking. This is the latest announcement of Viettel given under Decree 49/2017 / ND-CP to ensure the rights of users as well as prevent the situation of scattering SIM cards in the market.

Viettel will send a message requesting additional information to subscribers who have not fully registered information. Therefore, if you do not receive notice of Viettel, you can safely use it again!

Subscribers who register for personal information need to bring proof of their identity such as ID card, passport . to ensure they do not take photos of others to register.

How to buy an old sim, register "genuine" information?

In this case, the old owner and the new owner must go to Viettel store for support. The old owner needs to prove that the number of subscribers sold is his, and the buyer will have to bring identification to register personal information.

The answer is yes. Viettel customers can register information via My Viettel application without directly going to the registered store.
