This is the latest announcement of Viettel given under Decree 49/2017 / ND-CP to ensure the rights of users as well as prevent the situation of scattering SIM cards in the market.

Which subscriber must supplement the information?

Viettel will send a message requesting additional information to subscribers who have not fully registered information. Therefore, if you do not receive notice of Viettel, you can safely use it again!

Subscribers who register for personal information need to bring proof of their identity such as ID card, passport . to ensure they do not take photos of others to register.

How to buy an old sim, register "genuine" information?

In this case, the old owner and the new owner must go to Viettel store for support. The old owner needs to prove that the number of subscribers sold is his, and the buyer will have to bring identification to register personal information.

Can I register my personal information online?

The answer is yes. Viettel customers can register information via My Viettel application without directly going to the registered store.

After downloading the application to the machine, the client opens the application and follows the steps provided. When you have completed the steps, you must wait for the switchboard to approve the information, then the registration will be considered successful.

Do only Viettel network subscribers have to register personal information?

Decree 49/2017 / ND-CP applies to all operators in Vietnam today. So no matter which mobile phone network you use, you will have to add personal information.
