Laptop sold in May 2012

The laptop market in May still focused on low-cost products such as Acer Aspire AS4739, Aspire E1-431 or popular line with Toshiba M840.

Most laptops equipped with new Intel Core i Ivy Bridge processors will " land" on the market in June. Therefore, May is considered a "pre-storm silence" with quite a few new models launched in the market.

Typically, the Toshiba M840 model has not been announced to use a new processor, although it will almost certainly be upgraded to the latest chip line when it starts selling. Meanwhile, Acer has added low-cost models to the market such as the first-generation AS4739 running Core i, or E1-431-B822G32Mnks, using cheap Celeron chips.

Belonging to the new low-cost line to market, Acer Aspire AS4739 has a 14-inch screen, Intel Core i3-380M processor, 2 GB RAM, integrated graphics chip Intel HD Graphcis, 320 hard drive GB.

The machine has a reference price of 9.3 million VND including VAT.

Toshiba Satellite M840

The M840 features a unique mirror cover with three colors to choose from: pink, brown and blue. Satellite M840 sold in Vietnam will have two versions including M840-1005Q and M840-1011G only different in using Intel Core i3 or i5 processors respectively. Both are equipped with 14-inch screen with standard HD resolution, RAM memory of 2 GB capacity, 500 GB hard drive.

The device will be sold later this month with the price revealed after the official introduction on May 24.

The ultra-cheap laptop model from Acer is equipped with 14-inch screen, Intel Celeron Dual-core processor with speed of 1.7 GHz, 2 GB RAM and 320 GB hard drive, high-speed LAN port, DVD drive read / write. This model gives the manufacturer battery life of 4 hours continuously.

Acer Aspire E1-431-B822G32Mnks has a reference price of VND 8 million.

HP Compaq CQ43-421TU

HP this month also added another low-priced model of CQ43 line, CQ43-421TU with 14-inch screen, Intel Core i3-2330M processor with 2.2 GHz speed, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, 320 hard drive GB, Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics chip. This product also comes with a DVD read / write optical drive, Altec Lansing speakers and weighs only 2.2 kg.

The machine has a reference price of only 10.5 million, including VAT.

Acer Aspire V3-471G has a 14 inch screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, Intel Core i5-3210M processor, 2 GB RAM, 500 GB capacity hard drive and especially Nvidia GeForce graphics card GT630M 2 GB VRAM amount. The machine has no operating system preinstalled.

Acer Aspire V3-471G has a good price, only 13.5 million VND (including VAT). Particularly the only version in the video card has 1 GB VRAM and Core i3-2360M chip, the price is cheaper than VND 12.3 million.
