The biggest factors needed to achieve disinfection are temperature, pressure, and time. It is essential that the pressure is at 20 and the temperature must reach 270 Fahrenheit. Last but not least, you should know that the disinfection usually takes about 20 to 40 minutes. Since water is barely used in this process, the tools won't experience any corrosion. However, you should make sure to dry the instruments before disinfection.
