YouTube launches a new anti-piracy tool, notifying authors if their content is stolen
Recently, YouTube announced that it will launch a new anti-piracy tool called Copyright Match, which will notify authors if their products and content are copied. This move by YouTube to prevent gray matter theft is gaining popularity and protecting the rights of authors.
Copyright Match will check the content of completed videos uploaded to YouTube, short clips will not be checked. If the video contains existing or similar content, a notification will be sent to the first content uploader.
Next week, this anti-piracy tool will be released and applies to channel owners with more than 100,000 followers. Channel owners with fewer followers will receive it in a few months. Those who use YouTube Match will receive notification when their content is stolen and choose different solutions including: thanks to YouTube delete the video, contact the content copy or skip.
