Full Windows 7 & Windows Vista ISOs, updated up to 2026, are now available for download.
For most PC users today, Windows 7 – and especially Windows Vista – is a thing of the past. Microsoft stopped supporting and providing security updates for these operating systems a long time ago. Aside from security risks, using Windows 7 or Vista daily is extremely difficult because most modern software no longer supports versions prior to Windows 10.
However, many people are still running Windows 7 or Vista on their devices. And if you need to reinstall one of these 'legendary' operating systems, the good news is that there are now ISO files available that include all possible updates, providing the most complete experience.
Windows 7 and Vista ISOs have been updated to January 2026.
Bob Pony – a familiar face in the Windows enthusiast community – has just released Windows 7 and Windows Vista installations that include all security patches up to January 2026.
Specifically for Windows Vista, Microsoft released the final security update through the Premium Assurance program this month, officially concluding a nearly 7,000-day patching period. All of these updates are now combined into a single ISO file, allowing you to burn it to a USB drive or DVD (if you still prefer the 'old-fashioned' style).

Should you use Windows 7 or Vista right now?
Even though these ISOs have been fully updated with security patches, using Windows 7 or Vista as your primary operating system is still not recommended. The security risks and software compatibility issues are significant.
However, if you want to relive pre-Windows 8 operating systems, build retro PCs, test old software, or simply enjoy collecting and tinkering with Windows, these fully upgraded ISOs will undoubtedly be extremely useful.
