What is WiFi 6E?

As you know, WiFi 6 uses radio waves of 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Meanwhile, WiFi 6E is a little bit different. In addition to the same two frequencies as WiFi 6, WiFi 6E also supports 6GHz radio waves.

You can understand that the 6GHz spectrum works similarly to WiFi 6 on the 5GHz frequency but with the addition of non-overlapping channels.

According to WiFi Alliance, WiFi 6E standard allows 14 additional 80MHz channels and 7 additional 160MHz channels. These channels will never overlap with each other.
