On Twitter, there are new lines of sharing about whether users will have a color feed after changing their date of birth on the personal page. However, after some users follow, that tip doesn't work, even their account is locked.
It seems that this prank has just appeared on March 26 from a tweet. Only after a day, this news was nearly 28 thousand likes and 12,000 re-posted. Those who follow the instructions, change the date of birth to 2007 will be blocked. Because when you do that, the user informs Twitter that you are only 12 years old, the age is not allowed to open a Twitter account under the terms of service of this social network. You have to wait another year, when they are old enough, the locked account will be able to access again.
Before this prank, Twitter issued a warning: 'We found that changing the Twitter birthday on a personal page to 2007 to open a new color background is a prank. Please do not do so because your account will be locked if under 13 years of age. '
The Twitter spokesperson said the user who lost the account access due to this prank could appeal by logging in and following Twitter's instructions.
