Vivo NEX 3S 5G launched: Snapdragon 865, waterfall display, 44W fast charging
Today (March 10), Vivo has launched a new smartphone model in China, called the Vivo NEX 3S 5G. This is considered an upgraded version of the Vivo NEX 3 that the company introduced last year, still has a waterfall screen but comes with more powerful specifications.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm's most advanced Snapdragon 865 processor, supporting dual-mode 5G networking - a feature that last year's model didn't have. In addition, it also comes with a number of other attractive features such as UFS 3.1 internal memory and LPDDR5 RAM.

Specifications and features
Vivo NEX 3S 5G has a waterfall screen design, a selfie camera system and the back is almost identical to the Vivo NEX 3 5G. It has a metal frame, a glass back with a physical size of 167.44 x 76.14 x 9.4mm and weighs 219.5 grams.
The phone is equipped with a 6.89-inch Super AMOLED screen, curved nearly 90 degrees on the sides, supports Full HD + resolution (1080 x 2256 pixels) and accounts for 99.6% of the front. The screen of the machine supports 100% wide color gamut DCI-P3 and sRGB.
Similar to the NEX 3, the successor to the NEX 3S 5G still uses the Touch Sense virtual keys to adjust the volume and turn the screen on and off, instead of using the physical keys like other phones on the market today. .

The NEX 3S 5G is Vivo's first flagship this year with a Snapdragon 865 processor, combined with LPDDR5 RAM up to 12GB, UFS 3.1 internal memory up to 256GB. However, the device does not support expanding the storage capacity with a memory card.
Moving to the back, Vivo NEX 3S 5G features a 3-camera system placed in a circular module, including the Samsung GW1 64MP main sensor with aperture f / 1.8, ultra-wide angle sensor 13MP f / 2.2 and sensor 13MP telephoto f / 2.48. The rear camera cluster supports 2x optical zoom, 20x digital zoom, 4K video recording and 1080p slow-motion video at 480fps.
Vivo NEX 3S 5G features a retractable selfie camera module with 16MP f / 2.0 sensor and LED flash. In addition, it also has integrated fingerprint sensor under the screen, pre-installed Android 10 operating system with FunTouch OS 10 interface when sold.

In particular, this phone is also equipped with linear vibration motor, cooling system with the ability to reduce the surface temperature to 3-4 degrees Celsius and reduce the temperature of the chip to more than 10 degrees Celsius. 4350mAh battery, supports 44W fast charging, Wi-Fi 6, dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C port but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Price and release time
As expected, Vivo NEX 3S 5G will be sold in China from March 14 with prices starting from 4998 yuan (about 16.7 million) for 8GB RAM + 256GB of memory. Meanwhile, the more advanced version with 12GB of RAM + 256GB of memory is sold for 5298 yuan (about 17.7 million). Products have 3 color options are Black, Blue and Red.
