According to the CEO of Watrix, the company behind the gait recognition technology, this new technology is based on a high-quality, close-up image that enhances the exact verification rate to improve and overcome the problems of Face Recognition.

The new identification technology will create a separate 3D model for each person's posture based on the digital model of their shape and walking way from surveillance video. The data is measured and saved including step length, stride, footstep, foot angle, dynamic base, progressive line, hip angle and squatting way .

The software will rely on a database of videos extracted from security cameras to determine the identity of passersby.

The actual test showed that it took about 10 minutes for the software to be able to determine the information in 1 hour of video duration. This software analyzes all the features on the entire body so it is not fooled by the limp gait, oblique, wriggling.
