This feature on iPhone 17 Series will satisfy iFan's expectations

Apple just launched the iPhone 16e - a great combination and the company's first true mid-range phone. Next September, the public will witness the launch of the iPhone 17 series. And with all the good news that the iPhone 16e brings, things are getting more interesting for Apple's next big event.

A new rumor suggests that the Cupertino tech giant is testing something new for its upcoming iPhones: reverse wireless charging. In fact, this feature is already available on many Android smartphones.

According to the leak, the feature could be exclusive to the iPhone 17 Pro. The company is testing 7.5W reverse wireless charging. It is still unclear whether the feature will work when the phone goes on sale or if it can be enabled later.

According to the report, the components needed for the feature were added to the iPhone 12 but were never activated, and the iPhone 12 can only charge the MagSafe Battery Pack, not AirPods or other Qi-certified devices.

Previous rumors said that Apple was working on reverse wireless charging for the iPhone 14, but that didn't happen either.

Meanwhile, design changes on the iPhone 17 series could signal this feature. For starters, they will have a horizontal rear camera bar - quite similar to Google's Pixel phones. Additionally, rumors suggest that Apple could ditch the titanium frame structure for the iPhone Pro models and replace it with an aluminum frame. Additionally, the super-thin iPhone 17 Air will be just 5.5mm thick and feature a 'camera bar' similar to the iPhone 17 Pro.
