Revealing the 'super weird' design of iPhone 17

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone SE 4 next week, marking a major design change for the product line. In addition, the standard iPhone 17 is also likely to bring a major design change, especially on the back of the device to bring it closer to the iPhone 17 Pro.

Will the iPhone 17 series follow the Google Pixel-style camera style?

According to the latest report, the iPhone 17 camera module will be different from the current models, with a black shell similar to the Google Pixel series. Previously, there were reports that the exterior design of the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro would remain the same as the current models, but the decline in iPhone 16 sales may force the company to reconsider the design plan for the iPhone 17.

Additionally, one of Apple's foldable iPhone prototypes is said to feature a 'book-style' design similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 6, with a 7.74-inch internal display. Apple has been using the same iPhone design for years, but it looks like the company is preparing for some big changes.

According to information from Majin Bu on X, the iPhone 17 will have a change in the rear camera layout, although it will still retain the aesthetics of the iPhone 17 Pro models. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to adopt a new design but not change the camera layout, while still keeping the old triangular triple-camera solution, only with a longer module.

The source also said that the camera module on the base iPhone 17 will be wider than the single-camera Air version. The camera module on the iPhone 17 Air will be more rectangular than the iPhone 17, and the main camera and the ultra-wide camera have been swapped. This is because the smaller ultra-wide sensor can easily fit behind the Dynamic Island components.

However, it is still too early to draw conclusions about the design of the iPhone 17 as Apple may choose a simpler route and keep the same design as the current models. However, the company needs to innovate in the design of the next iPhone to attract consumers.
