Specifically, users owning a shared Surface Book 2 on the Reddit forum about their device displaying a blue or black screen and the message line 'System thread exception not handled' when updating from Windows 10 April 2018 Update to cumulative version KB4467682.
Today, Microsoft has officially confirmed the error and said it would release a patch with a security update in December, scheduled to be released on December 11.

Currently, Microsoft has blocked Surface Book 2 users from installing cumulative updates KB4467682 and advising users to remove the update if installed.
