The TV is as thin as paper sticking straight to the shirt / hat everywhere
Manufacturer Royole from China has released the world's slimmest and most flexible screen that allows it to stick to everyday clothes like paper, while still ensuring the standard sharpness and color scale.
This product is applied advanced AMOLED screen technology, technology applied for high-end smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy. The screen is only 0.01mm thin (equal to 1/5 of the hair thickness) and has a resolution of 2K. That's amazing.
In addition, this screen can be easily bent or attached to complex surfaces such as hoods, hats, etc.
According to Royole, this screen can connect to smartphones and act as a second touch screen at the same time. Its shelf life can last up to 10 hours thanks to a small battery attached to the hat and coat.
You are worried about washing clothes and the screen may be broken, feel free to remove it and take it to work!
A performance demonstration of Royole's screen technology.
However, the practical application of TV screens attached to costumes is usually not high because it cannot be used for all cases and purposes in life. For example, if you want to watch TV while wearing this integrated screen / shirt on your body, you will have to remove them in front of you. It doesn't sound feasible.
At the 2018 World Cup in Moscow (Russia), Royole and his product development team equipped fans with a range of these ultra-thin TV sets / shirts but unfortunately did not get the attention. I mean.
The price of this ultra-thin TV / shirt is quite expensive, approximately £ 1,000 (equivalent to VND 30 million).
