The first images of the female lead Suzume in Suzume no Tojimari - The doors are closed
Makoto Shinkai - the creator of the anime Your Name, Weathering With You recently revealed the image of the anime heroine Suzume no Tojimari (Suzume's Door-Locking). After 3 years since Weathering With You aired, the audience is about to enjoy the film from the director who is considered 'The Witch of Sorrows'.
In the poster image for Suzume no Tojimari (Suzume's Door-Locking), it reads 'I'll see you later'. Along with that is the image of the main character Suzume from behind walking to a small town. It was 'an abandoned ryokan, rooms filled with bent ivy, rusty signs…'.

Director Shinkai shared: 'We have to think about how to close many doors that we have left open. I gave that responsibility to Suzume as she traveled around Japan closing various doors. Here are the movie plot details:
The film is a modern adventure story, a road movie revolving around the main character Suzume. This 17-year-old girl from Kyushu town met a young man looking for a door. They both found the door in the rubble and she opened it.
Before long, all over Japan there were doors opening to disasters from the other side. The plot is Suzume's growth as she must be the one to find a way to close all the doors that cause disaster.
The film project of director Shinkai is scheduled from March 1 to March 2020, the script is developed for a period of 4 months (from April to August 2020). Finally, the drafting of the storyboard from September 2020 to December 2021 and the actual production of the film began in April 2021 and is still going on to this day.
