Black Panther 3 — December 15, 2028

Ryan Coogler returns to direct the third Black Panther film. Marvel's current announcement lists David Jonsson, Letitia Wright, and Winston Duke among the cast and dates the film for December 15, 2028. VisionQuest — October 14, 2026

VisionQuest is a live-action Disney+ series led by Paul Bettany as Vision. Marvel has described it as the conclusion of a trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 — fall 2026

The series was originally announced as Spider-Man: Freshman Year and later released under the title Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Marvel lists Season 2 for fall 2026 but has not posted a specific date on its show page. It is an alternate-continuity animated story, not a prequel in the main MCU timeline. Blade

What changed from the old schedule?

The original version of this article mixed predictions with dates published several years earlier. Many titles it called “upcoming” are already available, including The Marvels, Deadpool & Wolverine, Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts*, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Secret Invasion, Echo, Loki Season 2, Ironheart, Agatha All Along, Daredevil: Born Again, Wonder Man, What If...? Season 2, X-Men '97, and Marvel Zombies.

Other entries had inaccurate or speculative details: Agatha Christie: Coven of Chaos was a mistaken name for the project that became Agatha All Along; X-Men '97 continues the 1990s animated series rather than depicting “the early days” of the MCU mutants; and no reliable release date should be invented for a sequel simply because one is reportedly in development.

How to follow schedule changes

• Use Marvel's movie and television pages for dated studio announcements.
• Distinguish a release date from a season window such as “fall 2026.”
• Check your local cinema or Disney+ listing because country availability can differ.
• Treat trade reports as production news, not a final release date, unless the studio confirms the change.
