More than 20 years ago, Palm is one of the famous phone brands with popular PDA models. In 1996, Palm released its first model, PalmPilot 1000 and PalmPilot 5000. In just 18 months, the PalmPilot 1000 alone sold 1 million.

In October 2001, Palm released the first Treo phone. This is a big turning point, opening the era of personal handheld devices. But Palm's heyday did not last long, just over five years after the company was acquired by HP, after which Alcatel made its acquisition of the brand. By 2014, Palm was bought by TCL (China) but "covered by projection" since then.
From the end of 2017 and early 2018 there have been rumors of revitalizing Palm phones. At that time, TCL was said to be working with Verizon's former US partner Palm, to prepare for a new product.
Certification of a new device code-named PVG100 from Palm Ventures Group has recently been posted on the FCC website (US Federal Communications Commission). In addition, PVG100 has also obtained Wi-Fi certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance alliance. The detailed parameters of the product have not been disclosed in addition to the machine running Android OS 8.1 Oreo.
