Windows 95 is 30 years old and a thing of the past, but that hasn't stopped many people from reminiscing about the operating system that made Microsoft a household name. Recently, a Reddit user with the nickname international-dish78 posted a meticulously recreated 4K original Windows 95 wallpaper for everyone to enjoy. With the author allowing you to use and share it freely, this work will definitely be a meaningful gift for loyal Windows 95 fans.

It's hard to find official details about this wallpaper, but according to the Windows Wallpaper Wiki (not affiliated with Microsoft), the installed wallpaper is a collage of images in just two colors (blue and black) with a gradient map overlaid on them. These images include a motherboard, keyboard, mouse, cables, and CDs.

Many believe that this collection of images was produced internally, but it is unclear who created it. The image itself is only 320x400 (the boot screen), but when installed it is stretched to 640x400, and even further to cover the entire screen when hardware drivers are loaded during installation.
