Samsung has just officially launched the newest member of the Galaxy S25 series: Galaxy S25 Edge.
Samsung has just officially launched the newest member of the Galaxy S25 series: the Galaxy S25 Edge. The main highlight of this smartphone is its super-slim, eye-catching design, but still has all the power of a high-end flagship.
Minimalist design, powerful performance
The Galaxy S25 Edge is only 5.8mm thick and weighs 163 grams, making it the thinnest and lightest phone in the Galaxy series. The optimized curved edges and titanium frame increase durability. The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, the back uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and comes with IP68 water/dust resistance for everyday incidents.
Despite being thin and light, the S25 Edge still features an impressive camera system:
- 200MP main lens
- 12MP ultra wide angle camera
- ProVisual Engine and Nightography technology, similar to other Galaxy S25 models, ensure excellent photo/video quality.
In terms of performance, the device uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy – the flagship chipset of the S25 series. Samsung also redesigned the vapor chamber to be thinner but wider, keeping the device cool even when operating under continuous heavy loads.
Speaking about the launch of the new product, Mr. TM Roh, President and Acting Head of Device Experience (DX) Division of Samsung Electronics, shared:
The Galaxy S25 edge is more than just a slim phone. The groundbreaking technology behind it represents a commitment to pushing boundaries to deliver premium experiences that exceed expectations for users around the world. The S25 edge is not only a breakthrough in its segment, but also a major innovation in the mobile industry.
The Galaxy S25 Edge comes in three color options: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jet Black, and Titanium Icy Blue, starting at $1,099.
With a combination of groundbreaking design and powerful configuration, Galaxy S25 Edge promises to redefine the standard for thin and light high-end phones in 2025.
