Samsung Galaxy S24 series officially launched, supporting 7 years of software updates.
After months of rumors and leaks, Samsung has finally officially announced the Galaxy S24 series models on the Unpacked event stage this morning with three models: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ (plus) and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The highlight on the product line is mainly improvements in hardware specifications, along with some new features focusing on artificial intelligence (AI). Notably, Samsung's press release also revealed that this will be the company's first smartphone line to be supported for 7 years of software updates, equivalent to 7 years of continuous operating system upgrades.
Galaxy S24 models are shipped with Android 14, which means they will be updated to Android version 21.
