Raspberry Pi launches Touch Display 2 touchscreen, priced at only $40
Raspberry Pi has officially introduced the 5-inch Touch Display 2 , a more compact option than the 7-inch model launched last year. The new display is now available from authorized Raspberry Pi distributors worldwide for $40 , $20 cheaper than the 7-inch version.
This 5-inch model has a resolution of 720x1280 pixels , using a capacitive touch panel that supports multi-touch (up to 5 fingers). The product is fully integrated with Raspberry Pi OS , ensuring plug-and-play capability and full Linux driver support. Included in the box are cables, connectors and mounting accessories, making it easy for users to install right away.
Basically, the configuration of the 5-inch version is almost identical to the 7-inch model , the only difference is in size and price.
