Google has just announced a new project called Project Stream, which allows users to play blockbuster games without the processing power of computer hardware through the Chrome browser. Google's Project Stream is quite similar to the gaming technology on the GeForce Now cloud.

Currently Project Stream is still in beta, so Google only allows a limited number of players to play Assassin's Creed Odyssey for free, Ubisoft's upcoming blockbuster game.

In fact, playing games via real-time stream has been around for a long time, but its biggest barrier is too late. But with Google's Project Stream, players can play terrible games with the lowest latency possible only with the web browser and still have great experiences. This means that cheap Chromebooks can become a device that delivers a gaming experience on par with expensive gaming laptops.

In order to participate in the test of Google Project Stream, gamers must be over 17 years old and have Internet connection speeds of 25Mb / s or more. Unfortunately, this test program is only used by Google in the US. If you participate in the test, the player will play Assassin's Creed Odyssey for free until mid-January 2019.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey will be played through streaming Chrome browser images with 1080p 60fps resolution, requiring high and stable Internet connection speeds, not requiring powerful computer hardware.

Google has not yet announced the time to officially launch Project Stream but this will definitely be a project many gamers expect.

It is unclear whether measures to change IP can help users in Vietnam can register to participate in Project Stream testing or not.
