Highest-Damage Weapons in PUBG Mobile and How to Use Them

The hardest-hitting PUBG Mobile weapons are not automatically the best weapons for every fight. AWM, Crossbow, M24, Kar98k, Sawed-Off, and Win94 can deliver heavy damage in the right range, but each trades speed, availability, or ease of use for that power. Armor, hit location, distance, and the current balance patch all affect the result.

What “high damage” means in PUBG Mobile

Raw damage is only one part of a weapon's value. A missed AWM shot does no damage, while a controllable rifle can land several hits before a bolt-action weapon is ready again. Evaluate these weapons by four questions:

• Can you reliably hit the head or upper torso at the intended range?
• How long does the weapon take to reload or cycle another shot?
• Is its ammunition readily available?
• Do you have a second weapon for the ranges it cannot cover?

Use appropriate PUBG Mobile attachments where the weapon allows them, and test sensitivity in Training Grounds before relying on a rare gun in a match.

AWM: maximum bolt-action threat

The AWM is an airdrop weapon that uses .300 Magnum ammunition. It combines very high damage with strong long-range performance, making it particularly dangerous when the user can place a headshot. Its scarcity and limited special ammunition are the main constraints.

Crossbow: quiet but unforgiving

The Crossbow fires bolts with very little sound and can deal severe damage on a well-placed hit. Its slow projectile, curved trajectory, lengthy reload, and limited practical range make it a specialist weapon rather than a general replacement for a rifle.

Use it well: engage unaware or stationary targets at short-to-medium range, learn the sight markings, and move immediately if the first shot misses. Keep a fast-firing secondary weapon ready.

M24: strong, flexible bolt-action rifle

The M24 uses 7.62mm ammunition and offers high single-shot damage without the AWM's special-ammo limitation. It accepts useful sniper attachments and is a practical long-range choice when you find one.

Use it well: add a suitable scope and extended magazine, fire from cover, and avoid staying exposed while cycling the bolt. At moving targets, lead the shot instead of placing the crosshair directly on the player.

Kar98k: common and dependable

The Kar98k is another 7.62mm bolt-action option. It is valuable because it provides meaningful long-range stopping power using widely available ammunition, but the slow follow-up shot punishes poor aim.

Use it well: pair it with an AR, fire from a crouched or prone position when safe, and break line of sight between shots. Do not repeatedly peek the same angle against another sniper.

Sawed-Off: emergency close-range damage

The Sawed-Off is a compact shotgun carried in the sidearm slot. At very close range, its pellets can produce heavy burst damage without consuming a primary-weapon slot. Its small capacity, spread, and steep range limitation make it unreliable beyond room-clearing distance.

Use it well: treat it as an emergency backup inside buildings. Center the target before firing and move to cover while reloading.

Win94: fast-handling lever-action option

The Win94 is a lever-action rifle with an integrated scope. It cycles faster than many bolt-action rifles and works well for mid-range precision, but it lacks the attachment flexibility and extreme-range capability of dedicated sniper rifles.

Use it well: take quick mid-range shots from cover and exploit its faster follow-up. Switch to a close-range weapon before entering buildings.

Practical loadout advice

• Pair AWM, M24, or Kar98k with an AR for flexible mid- and close-range fights.
• Pair Crossbow or Win94 with a weapon you can use confidently under pressure.
• Use the Sawed-Off only as a sidearm; do not build the whole loadout around it.
• Prioritize a stable frame rate and comfortable sensitivity over theoretical weapon damage.
