Please download the all-new Microsoft Edge stable version of Chromium 78 from the official Microsoft website

Recently, the Techdows website unexpectedly discovered a download link for the stable version of Microsoft Edge Chromium on the Microsoft website. It seems that, after nearly a year of testing, Microsoft is finally ready to launch the official version of Microsoft Edge with Chromium.

After reviewing this link, Techdows said that Microsoft Edge stable version based on the new Chromium 78 kernel will soon be released by Microsoft in the near future.

Right now, users can access the link below (from the official Microsoft website) to download and try the stable version of Microsoft Edge based on the all-new Chromium 78 core.

Note: After installing Microsoft Edge Chromium, the old version of Microsoft Edge will be removed and users will have no way to uninstall Microsoft Edge Chromium.

After installation is complete, the Microsoft Edge logo will remain the same. The code of the installed version is 78.0.276.19. What's different from the old version is that the beta / dev text in the about section was removed.

Currently, Microsoft has not announced information on the launch date of this operating system version.
