Sora currently only operates independently on the Sora.com website, allowing users to create short videos from descriptive text. However, during a "Sora Office Hours" session on Discord, Sora product lead Rohan Sahai revealed that integration of the AI ​​engine into ChatGPT is in the works. This means that in the future, users will be able to ask ChatGPT to create videos with just a few simple commands.

This move is considered a strategic move by OpenAI in the context of increasingly fierce AI competition. Integrating Sora into ChatGPT not only attracts more users but also encourages more people to subscribe to the ChatGPT Plus package to experience premium features.
