Open Asus' only 1kg netbook

The Eee PC 1018P is only 1.77 cm thick and weighs approximately 1kg with a rugged and luxurious aluminum housing .

The new Asus netbook has a starting price of around $ 350 for the configuration, including Intel Atom N450 processors, Intel GMA 3150 graphics chips, 1GB of RAM and a pre-installed Windows 7 Starter Edition operating system.

In Engadget 's early tests, the Eee PC 1018P had a battery life of about 4 hours and 40 minutes with a 6-cell battery included.
