Netbook shell made of Asus carbon fiber

The Eee PC 1001PX costs only $ 279 for the Windows XP version. This model is the latest netbook introduced by Asus with low cost and theoretical battery life of up to 9 hours continuously.

The Eee PC 1001PX will go on sale in May for $ 299 for the Windows 7 Starter version and $ 279 for the Windows XP version (US market price).

The Eee PC 1001PX has a 10.1-inch LED backlight display.

This model is equipped with Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB or 2GB RAM, hard drive capacity of 160GB or 250GB.

Same connections as standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VGA port, USB, memory card reader and 0.3 Megapixel webcam.

The case is made of carbon fiber.
