According to the survey results of VNISA more than 200 enterprises in the South, there are 80% of incidents of personal safety due to human factors, but no enterprise focused on improving awareness of employees. 50% of businesses do not have a troubleshooting process and 74% of businesses do not have a security policy.

38% of businesses did not know if their network was attacked or not and 45% did not have a network security system capable of recording attacks. In particular, when attacked, 68% of businesses cannot estimate their own damage.

Also according to a survey of VNISA, most enterprises formulating safety policies are still low and have not been given adequate attention. Most attacks on businesses are found to be related to antivirus. Worth mentioning is that among 100% of businesses that have used anti-virus software to protect, most use the system without legal copyright.

Along with the weak awareness of safety and hygiene, the way of handling enterprises when being violated is also embarrassing. Specifically, according to a survey of VNISA, when attacked, only 10% of businesses are ready to report to law enforcement agencies while up to 60% of businesses are hidden for reasons of fear of image.

In this situation, with the Information Safety Day 2009, VNISA hopes that the information security situation in the coming years will have more positive changes.
