This means that users will no longer receive any security updates.
According to Rains , Microsoft had stopped supporting Windows XP Service Pack 2 before, and within two years, the proportion of malware attacking this operating system increased by more than 66% compared to Windows XP Service. Pack 3.
The worrying fact will surely take place over the next few months, several years, since Microsoft officially turned away from Windows XP Service Pack 3.
So, whether you love Windows 8 or not, users should still upgrade to this latest version, because according to statistics, the percentage of malware attacking Windows 8 is 6 times lower than XP.
Otherwise, users can upgrade to Windows 7 to receive security support from Microsoft.
