Microsoft has updated Telex percussion on Windows 10 build 17643 for Vietnamese users, but not yet used
Microsoft Windows operating system has been available in Vietnam for a long time but has not officially provided Vietnamese keyboard for users. Therefore, users must always download third party software such as VietKey, Unikey to type Vietnamese on Windows.
However, a recent finding shows that Windows is about to integrate both Telex and VNI percussion for Vietnamese users. Specifically, if you access the Windows 10 keyboard option of build 17643 update via Windows Insider, Skip Ahead, users can see the appearance of the TELEX input keyboard. But this feature is still not working, probably because Mirosoft is still testing.
However, this seems to be a pretty good signal for Vietnamese users because this is the first time Microsoft has introduced Vietnamese keyboards into its operating system since Windows 95.
Open TELEX input on Windows 10 build 17643:
Go to Settings > select Time & Language -> select Region and Language .
At Preferred languages , in Vietnamese -> select Options (if there is no Vietnamese entry -> click Add Language to add it).
Click Add a keyboard -> select Vietnamese Telex to add TELEX keyboard input.
Enable TELEX input on Windows 10 build 17643:
At system-tray bar -> click Language button -> select Vietnam Telex Keyboard .
