Just a few months ago, Microsoft Edge accounted for just over 4% of the market share. But thanks to the effects of the Chromium-powered Microsoft Edge version, the browser market share has grown significantly, even surpassing Internet Explorer.

In the next few months, the market share of Microsoft Edge is expected to grow strongly from devices with Windows 10, Windows 7, 8 and macOS.

The Chromium Edge version is expected to be released through Windows Update to replace the current Edge, allowing users to experience the same exciting features as on Chrome right on Microsoft Edge.
