Microsoft Copilot will bring video creation options to users
Microsoft is developing a new video creation feature for Microsoft Copilot. This feature also uses AI technology to turn your descriptions into videos.
Copilot automatically adds footage, music, voiceovers, and more in Clipchamp.
Copilot will tap into Clipchamp's collection of pre-made video templates, copyright-free footage, and text-to-speech generator to create a custom video. And after receiving the video, users can continue to edit in Clipchamp with full video editing tools as usual. Or, if the video is to your liking, you can export it immediately without any changes. This feature is great when you create informational videos, video messages, tutorial videos, demos, and presentation videos.
Most Clipchamp users are quite confused or don't know how to edit videos or get existing footage. Therefore, Clipchamp brings automatic features to users.
The video creation feature is expected to begin rolling out in September to Microsoft 365 products first. It's unclear whether this feature requires a paid Clipchamp account (included in Microsoft 365). Microsoft 365 does not mention a beta testing period. The new feature can bypass Insider channels and develop globally across accounts.
