HP introduced Specter 13x2 and Specter 13 laptops

In addition to the integrated Envy 17 sensor Leap Motion, HP has also launched two new models of their laptops / tablets including Specter 13x2 and Specter 13.

Specter 13x2 is a fanless tablet model even though it is equipped with an Intel chip. It has a full HD 13-inch screen and comes with a keyboard dock for users to use as a regular laptop.

Although advertised as a tablet, if the dock is attached, the weight of the device is up to 2.04 kg and of course will make users feel significant weight. This weight is even bigger than a regular 13-inch ultrabook. In return, the aluminum in the frame makes the machine feel superior when held.

It has RAM option from 4 GB to 8 GB, Haswell chip (Core i3 or i5). The hard drive allows you to choose from 64 GB to 128 GB and this hard drive is only available on tablets. Keyboard dock is not equipped with additional storage memory. HP said it has a battery life of 7.5 hours. Specter 13x2 is available from October 16 for $ 1099 or more.

In addition, HP also introduced another common ultrabook, Specter 13 . This is the ultrabook to succeed HP's Specter XT last year. It is designed very thin and light, weighing only 1.47 kg and only 13.4 mm thick. The device has a brown shell and the color is champagne and the trackpad is wide and quite strange. HP has designed an extra wide touchpad on both sides and this touchpad is added to make it easier for users to interact with Windows 8 with the touchpad.

Specter 13 has the configuration of a high-end ultrabook with Haswell Core i5 / i7 chip, 9-hour battery and SSD up to 512 GB. The screen has a full HD option until 2560x1440. The device is sold from October 16 with a starting price of 999 USD.

Finally, HP announced Pavilion 13x2 , 13-inch tablet hybrid laptop for option Haswell chip or AMD A6 4 processor core. Machine sold on November 17 for $ 599.99.
